Northeast Ohio high school students honored during halftime of Cavaliers game for efforts against teen violence
Before the game, one student explained that the message was just as simple as the one-word message, respect: raise awareness of the problem of teenage dating violence.
“Students need to hear that 16 individuals between the ages of 10 and 24 are victims of youth-to-youth violence every day in this country,” said Kevin Smith, an 18-year-old student at St. Ignatius.
