Labor law is also known as employment law. This law includes administrative rulings, the legal rights and precedents. There are two categories included in the labor law such as collective labor law and individual labor law. Labor laws are made with the most associated with the employer- union relationships. It also includes employer- employer relationships. There are varieties of federal and state labor laws available. It contains the basic rights and benefits of employees. Labor laws are different federal laws. It is consisting of the basic employment rights such as overtime pay, minimum wage and vacation pay. Collective laws are used to regulate the relationship between the employee, employer and unions. It includes strikes, trade unions, workplace involvement and pickets. The labor laws differ from state to state. It is associated with many laws such as anti- discrimination, health and safety and unfair dismissal laws. These types of laws are used for protecting the rights of employees. Unfair dismissal laws are used to prevent from dismissed and illegitimate grounds. This law has many categories of business types and worker types.
